Want to try indigo dyeing or shibori but not sure where to start?
Looking for a fun and crafty activity for yourself, for friends or family?
Need a team-building project to enjoy with colleagues or classmates?
This is a perfect opportunity.
In this workshop we provide a pre-washed cotton bandana or tenugui (tea towel) and a tote. We teach you basic shibori (tie-dye) and itajime (wood-clamping) pattern making, and how to dye in Yamato Indigo, a natural-blend indigo dye from Japan. You will go home with your very own shibori pieces.
This workshop is excellent for absolute beginners as well as intermediates. No previous dyeing experience necessary. Materials and tools are provided and included in the price. Note: provided items only for dyeing in this class.
