Tote bag made of vintage furoshiki (wrapping cloth) from Japan.
This vintage indigo textile, found in a small town in Nagano, Japan, has patterns of Tsuta kamon (ivy family crest) and Karakusa (arabesque) printed with "tsutsugaki," a traditional dye technique. The vintage cotton fabric is approximately 100 years old in great condition. Fully lined. Perfect, unique market tote for everyday use.
