Sho Chiku Bai (Pine, Bamboo, Plum) Fabric Panel

This stunning fabric showcases one of the most beloved motifs in Japanese culture: pine tree, bamboo, and plum flower, collectively known as "Cho-Chiku-Bai." These auspicious symbols, representing resilience, strength, and renewal, are beautifully woven using the traditional "Kasuri" (Ikat) technique with deep indigo yarn. Comprising four panels, this fabric was likely part of a futon cover crafted for a newlywed couple.
